Catch up Time

Catch up Time

So those of you who follow the blog regularly will notice there hasn't been one for some time. The reason for that is it has been manic. I spent a week in Lancaster for the annual conference, another week in London (with only a few days in between) and then back to varying different parts of the country and careers fairs! Then add all the prep for events, daily emails, phonecalls and all sorts and suddenly you realise it's the middle of October and you haven't written a blog in a while!

So what have we been up to? Well, let me tell you September was very busy! We managed to:
  • Attend New Scientist Live
  • Run OR in Schools sessions at The OR Society Conference
  • Visit Ewell Castle School in London (and a mum got to embarrass her son!)
  • Visit Leicester Uni
  • Take part in Maths Week Scotland
  • Give a talk and take part in the ATM Maths Festival

More details on all these will follow, and I will write another blog later this month, but in the meantime, here is one of my favourite pictures from New Scientist Live taken at the end of one of the days! It was an amazing event - and I'm going to dedicate my next whole blog to it!!
